MAY DAY in England  イギリスのメイデイ

In England where I am from,
we have what we call MAY DAY and it starts from the 1st of may to the 4th.

僕の出身地、イングランドでは、5月1日から4日までの期間を「メイデイ」って呼ぶよ。




It is a four day holiday where everyone gets the chance to be with their family.

それは、みんな家族と過ごすことが出来る四連休なんだ。




It’s a bit like golden week here.

いわば、チョットしたゴールデンウィークだね。




It’s called MAY DAY to celebrate that spring is here and summer is on its way !!!

春の到来を祝い、夏を迎えるという意味でMAY DAYと呼ばれている。そんな日なんだ。
